Brad Pitt’s The Gardener Gin Teams up With Martingale Cognac to Elevate French Spirits in the US

French spirits producers Martingale Cognac and The Gardener Gin have inked a strategic partnership to synergize their messaging across the American market. The Gardener Gin, co-founded by actor Brad Pitt and ex-Tanqueray master distiller Tom Nichol in 2023, will be incorporated into Martingale Cognac's marketing campaigns across New York and California. Hailing from the French Riviera and Cognac, the two brands represent radically different approaches to the French luxury spirits concept.

“As fourth-generation custodians of one of the most coveted domaines in Cognac, Maison Thomas and Martingale represent a legacy deeply rooted in craftsmanship," Martingale Cognac founder and CEO Guillaume Thomas said in a news release. "It felt natural to collaborate with Famille Perrin, another producer who shares and respects the same values and history of having more than 100 years of family production behind them. "Alongside his longtime business partner, Brad Pitt, and 'Gin legend,' Tom Nichol as master distiller, Famille Perrin developed a beautiful organic gin that evokes legacy with a modern twist.”

Headed up by fourth-generation distillers Guillaume Thomas and Amaury Thomas, Martingale Cognac oversees one of the largest vineyards in its region.
