Ultra Right Beer, the partisan brew brand with an insatiable appetite for trending culture wars, has unveiled the latest release in its ongoing Conservative Dad's lager range. This time around, the can commemorates what it calls "the most iconic image of all time" — Trump raising his fist after an attempted assassination attempt in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania. In a video announcing the release, a stream of Trump-centric headlines flows across the screen as a voiceover from Sylvester Stallone's Rocky Balboa declares:
"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life."
The machismo of it all reaches a fever pitch as Rocky musters a few rallying cries over footage of Trump's post-assassination fist pumps. To be clear, this does not appear to be an endorsement from Stallone himself, but rather an audio interpolation from the 2006 film. In comparison to Ultra Right Beer's usual marketing material, the video could be considered tame, even bordering on apolitical. The brand was brought to market by Sean Weathers in 2023 as a response to the then-trending Dylan Mulvaney boycott against Bud Light. As conservatives parted ways with Anheuser-Busch, Weathers welcomed them with open arms and deliberately polarizing rhetoric. [caption id="attachment_77904" align="aligncenter" width="600"]Ultra Right Beer (Photo: Ultra Right Beer)[/caption] The beer's inaugural marketing campaign celebrated the debut of a "100% Woke-Free" brand; Weathers donned a backward cap as he bludgeoned a can of Bud Light with the swing of a baseball bat. A few months later, Weathers uploaded a parody video in which he suggested that Bud Light was "transing" its horses at AB-InBev farms. AI images were deployed to substantiate his point. In keeping with current events, Ultra Right Beer has since pivoted from the "anti-Bud Light brand" to the pro-Trump brand. Shortly after the former President was indicted in Georgia, Ultra Right rolled out Conservative's Dad Revenge, a limited-edition lager plastered with Trump's now infamous mugshot. It reportedly sold out $500,000 worth of product within 12 hours. It's worth noting that Ultra Right was later met with an F-rating from the Better Business Bureau following widespread reports of undelivered orders. Despite this, we have absolutely no doubt that the newly minted Conservative Dad's Fight will achieve the same partisan cult status as its sold-out predecessors. [newsletter-promo]
