The gifting bonanza is the latest in a string of moves from Don Julio as it cements its presence in the NFL. The brand, which this year was announced as the official tequila of the Super Bowl for the first time, has been eager to show off the connection. The festivities kicked off last month, when Don Julio partnered with Popeyes Chicken for a trio of limited-edition menu items. The bizarre combo meal — which included a tequila-marinated chicken sandwich, tequila sauce wings and a spicy hibiscus mocktail — was available exclusively in New Orleans in the week ahead of the big game. The full-circle moment integrated the popularity of the Super Bowl alongside Popeyes, a brand born and raised in Louisiana. We had a chance to try these menu items when they made a one-day appearance in New York City, and they were... interesting, to say the least. Don Julio also released a light-up Super Bowl LIX bottle that fans can purchase for $199. It turns on in neon shades of green and tomato red, the same colorway as this year's big game logo. Don Julio isn't the only tequila brand muscling in on the occasion. On Thursday, Kevin Hart's Gran Coramino announced it would be covering all rides to the victory parade between the Market-Frankford and Broad Street bus stops in Philadelphia. Attendees will find the buses wrapped in a giant Kevin Hart decal depicting the comedian with three bottles of tequila in hand. Hart, equally famous as a celebrity as he is a Philadelphia native, has developed something of a reputation for larger-than-life Super Bowl stunts. Look no further than last week when he bought a $16.5 million eagle and named it Saquon Barkley.Eagles Receive Custom Super Bowl Don Julio Bottles, Chains For Parade | Click to read more 👇 https://t.co/Fj1ctTCVpa
